Hi! Welcome to Emma’s Archive–a place for teaching, learning, and all my EDCI 336 required blog posts.

I’m Emma, a second-year student in the Bachelor of Education program at UVic, although I do plan on getting my Master of Education as well. Iām a 20 year-old rockstar, born and raised in beautiful Victoria BC. Objectively, I speak only English, but in my heart I speak many more languages.
I seldom have free time, between school, working, dancing, and spending time with friends/family. I am a proud executive member of the Education Studentsā Association, where I coordinate events and opportunities for all Education students at UVic! I love to travel, and most recently backpacked Italy for a few weeks this past summer before travelling around California for reading break. I also love camping, gaming, reading, and critiquing movies (check out my Letterboxd!), and I personally consider āgoofing aroundā and āhaving a good timeā two very important hobbies in my life.

My dream is to own lakefront property, where I drive a boat to school to teach everyday. I would be exactly like the teacher from School of Rock and my 4/5 students would be the new-and-improved Pink Floyd. Lastly, Iām a math fiend and will do anything I can to get my hands on some math. I most recently took two extra courses outside of our program, Logic and Foundations and Calculus I, just to expand my horizons a little. It was awesome and I can’t wait to take more.
